Why WATEX In Syria ?
Syria consumes nearly 80% of its water resources for agricultural purposes, while it consumes about 16 % for the industrial purposes and remaining which is less than 4% for the drinking water purposes.

Those noticeable rates may show new opportunities and different possibilities for the rationalization of the consumption of water resources in Syria and can help to overcome the scarcity of water which the region and the rest of the world are suffering from. Modern methods of irrigation in Syria cover only 20% of the agricultural production. On the contrary of the official directions and rules , using the traditional methods of irrigation, which falls on the waste of a very large amounts of water, more than those required by the agriculture in practice.

This typically goes on the same line with the reports referred by the United Nations and its development programs on the scarcity of water and its relationship which ended in bad management of water resources, exactly like its relation with the climate changes (if not more).

Concurrently: WATEX & CLIMATECH

WATEX will be held simultaneously with CLIMATECH exhibition, in its turn WATEX contributes to the mechanisms and knowledge and gives the techniques and products that support the management of water resources and the rationalization of consumption. WATEX also supports the treatment of different uses, domestic, industrial and agricultural support and disposal of sewage through minimizing the waste of water and the environmental damage.

To complete the scene between WATEX & CLIMATECH exhibitions, this ideal conjunction is effected to the synchronization and integration between the adjustment and adaptation techniques and the rationalization of consumption of resources and energy consumption to reach the best development equation.
